The Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County’s mission is to provide a forum for women attorneys, to promote the legal profession in Jefferson County and to offer information about the profession and public services to the community at large. The Association was founded in 1961 by fifteen women attorneys and has a current membership of about 400 attorneys, both male and female, and law students.
The Association offers a wonderful opportunity for lawyers and law students to meet and share experiences. Association members represent a spectrum of practice from government and corporate to private practice and public interest work. Everyone in the practice of law or in law school is encouraged to join the Association. For more information on Association benefits and to apply,
