About the Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County
Founded on the principles of inclusion and professional advancement, the Women Lawyers Association of Louisville (WLAL) is dedicated to fostering a diverse legal community and ensuring women in the law have the support and resources to thrive.
Since our establishment, we have:
Provided a forum for women attorneys to engage, support, and uplift one another
Offered educational programming, luncheons, and speaker events on legal and community issues
Organized mentorship and leadership initiatives for women lawyers and law students
Advocated for gender equity, diversity, and inclusion in the legal profession
We believe that by strengthening women’s presence and leadership in the law, we elevate the justice system and enrich our community.
The mission of the Women Lawyers Association is to provide a forum for women attorneys, to promote the legal profession in Jefferson County, and to offer information about the profession and public services to the community at large.
